  1. Hi guys, Love the show.

With regards to your article concerning the fire drake in issue 43. I dont have the stats for them on hand but can they fly? if not then the answer for what id use them for is easy…. Catapult ammunition!

    Keep up the great work.

  2. Actually, the whole elves do not sleeping thing was prominently mentioned in the Lord of the Rings trilogy by Tolkien. And I have always thought it the basis of Gygax having them immune to sleep spells as well as beining immune to fear spells. Legolas makes mention that the dead of mankind hold no fear for elvenkind.

  3. Hello Guys,

    Thank you for the podcasts.
They is really entertaining, and I am listening to them in the train everyday on my way to work!
Last night I was listening to one where you where talking about miniatures and I thought I mentioned a few companies and in particular a web site that is completely devoted to miniatures concerning Dungeons and Dragons.
The website is http://www.dndlead.com and it is filled with pictures of miniatures starting from the early Minifigs range for D&D until the last produced figures by Wizard of the Coast.
If you like old school gaming another great company is classic miniatures, ( http://www.classicminiatures.net/ ) where Michael is re-proposing miniatures from the Heritage Miniatures range, that was mentioned to produce a line for TSR and was then dumped in favor of Grenadier Miniatures, but they would sell the figurines without mentioning D&D, but in fact they where perfect for the job. I also mentioned Grenadier Miniatures that in 1996 sold its molds to an Italian company Mirliton SG ( http://www.mirliton.it/ )and at their website you can still purchase a lot of miniatures that are dungeons and dragons compatible. Another company I love and I like to promote is Prince August a company that sells you molds to make your own figures. Their range is very limited, but if you need to put on the table a lot of monsters it is very useful.
I hope this little contribution might help. Keep up the great job I will be listening to you guys tonight in the train.
